Johnny Clegg reveals plans for the future as final world tour draws to a close

Legendary South African musician Johnny Clegg has shared his plans for life after his final world tour.

He performed his last major South African gig in the Port Elizabeth and released the video to his single 'King of Time' over the weekend.

64-year-old Clegg was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015 and is currently in remission.

While the iconic artist will stop performing on big stages, he says that his musical career is far from over.

The superstar says he plans to finish up his autobiography and may work on releasing another album next year.

Clegg is also putting together a series of lectures and inspirational talks on culture and identity.

He plans to pursue his interests in other passion projects, including in the electronic waste recycling sector.

I'd rather wind it up now while I'm still fit and strong, than in two or three years time when I can't do that stuff.
