[LISTEN] Book Feature: 50 People Who Stuffed Up the World

From celebrities to crackpots, and the morally corrupt to political despots, the world has certainly seen its fair share of villains in recent times.

Described as serious and comical, the book ‘50 People Who Stuffed Up the World’ interrogates our understanding of history and our knowledge of culture.

The author of the book, Alex Parker talks about the people featured, and how they made it to the list.

Parker jokingly admits that one of the things they acknowledged at the beginning of the book, was the fact that we are borderline, middle class, white men.

One of the people featured in the book is the Kardashians.

There is no value that they bring to culture and young people’s lives.

They just walk around on TV, and there’s nothing of value that the family contributes to society says Parker.

50 People Who Stuffed Up the World unites the nastiest names from the last century and beyond in one highly unpleasant yet absolutely entertaining package.

Who would top your list of the 50 people who have done the most to mess up the modern world?
