FlySafair to allow 5 litres on board when travelling to Cape Town

FlySafair spokesperson, Kirby Gordon, has denied claims that the airline instructed its crew not to comment on the drought situation in Cape Town.

Gordon says it was just a misunderstanding between the crew and the captain. He says the captain was supposed to do the water announcement but ended up not doing it on that particular flight.

There was a bit of miscommunication. The captain had said to the in charge flight attendant please don't make the announcement with the intention that he was to make it and neglected to do so.

Kirby Gordon, Spokesperson for FlySafair

Gordon says FlySafair will allow passengers to take on board 5 litres of water when traveling to Cape Town but it should be a sealed bottled to avoid leakages.
