The First Industrial Revolution used water and steam to mechanise production.

The Second Industrial Revolution used electricity and mass production.

The Third Industrial Revolution used electronics and information technology in production.

Now a Fourth Industrial Revolution (or, “second machine age”) is reshaping society through digitisation, artificial intelligence and robotics, the Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles, 3D printing, quantum computing, nanotech and advances in bio-tech.

Disruption is certain.

Resistance is futile.

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Yiedi CEO Jayshree Naidoo.

Naidoo discussed how the Fourth Industrial Revolution is impacting small businesses.

Listen to the interview in the audio below (and/or scroll down for more quotes from it).

Imagine a world where you can access opportunities from any corporate in your inbox without even searching for it…

Coding… needs to be the 12th official language… it’s as important as literacy… I can’t stress enough how importing coding skills are…

Banks may be dead, but banking isn’t…. they need a platform to transact on… they don’t care what the front-end looks like…
