Have you ever thought about the person who closes the grave after a burial?
Soweto born entrepreneur Pitso Maleka found this to be an opportunity and, in 2003, created grave closing, grave relocating and grave maintenance company “PM Grave Closure”.
Maleka says his purpose is “to provide quality and friendly grave services that ensure that the departed are buried with dignity and their final resting place is always presentable and treated with respect.”
He says he strives to exceed the expectations of the families and funeral service providers he serves as he is looking to build lifelong relationships based on honesty, integrity, loyalty and mutual respect.

We do this with love. It’s part of our culture.— Pitso Maleka, PM Grave Closure
I’m employing more than a thousand people; 197 undertakers in Soweto only. I’m employing new people almost every day! I’m expanding all the time; I’m also in Durban. And the funerals now happen almost every day; it’s not on weekends only anymore.— Pitso Maleka, PM Grave Closure
We have no competitors. God gave me this idea.— Pitso Maleka, PM Grave Closure
