When is the busiest time at the gym?

Peak time is often the worst time to hit the gym, but if it suits you best, you may want to know when to go for your daily workout.

Stephen Grootes speaks to Ross Faragher-Thomas, MD at Virgin Active about this and how Virgin clubs have managed to accommodate all their clients.

We tend to be at our busiest sort of earlier int the evenings and sometimes earlier in the mornings, so on the fringes of people's time in and around work. It works around what suits people individually.

Years ago there were sort of peak periods of times where people rush to get ready for summer, but what we have found today is the health imperative has meant that sort of seasonality has smoothed out somewhat. There is a far greater degree of people forming a habit of exercise all year round.
