Township property prices are booming – FNB

The average township home is now worth R323 472, according to the latest FNB house price index.

FNB says property prices in areas classified as black townships under Apartheid in South Africa’s six largest metros have increased by 11.6 percent in the first quarter of 2015.

This compares to overall house price inflation of 7.6 percent.
