No arrest warrant for our client insists Ajay Gupta's lawyer

EWN's Barry Bateman says the Gupta’s lawyers have reportedly dismissed the Hawks' claims that their client is a fugitive from justice as malicious and misleading.

They say they've not seen any warrant of arrest for their client and until such they don't regard their client as being a fugitive.

The Hawks coming back and saying this is absolute nonsense, there is a warrant for Ajay Gupta's arrest.

It is the same warrant as per the eight suspects who appeared in court last week.

Bateman says the Hawks once again urged Gupta to present himself to the authorities in order to appear in court.
