Makhura set to deliver Gauteng Sopa on Monday

Premier David Makhura is expected to deliver Gauteng's State of the Province Address on Monday.

Makhura will report back to the people of Gauteng on progress made in the implementation of Gauteng’s developmental plans.

Speaker of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, Ntombi Mekgwe says while progress has been made, more can be done.

The premier actually did indicate the kind of programmes that we are embarking on as the Gauteng Provincial government. We know that in terms of the population of Gauteng, more people still need to get houses...We take it that a lot still needs to be done.

But that is not for me to indicate, the premier will actually table what it is they are gong to be doing for the people of Gauteng in 2018
