UPDATE: The Boeing has reached it's destination in Fourways

Johannesburg motorists have been warned to expect traffic delays on Tuesday morning as a massive Boeing 737 plane is being transported from Jet Park to Fourways Mall.

These are the affected routes:

• Jones Road to Yaldwyn Road

• M39, Pretoria Main Road, Olifantsfontein Road and Summit Road to Mnandi Road in Knoppieslaagte 385-Jr, Centurion

• Mnandi Road and Riversands Boulevard to Erling Road in Midrand

• William Nicol Drive/R511 to Fourways Boulevard on Witkoppen, Sandton

The plane is being transported to Fourways Mall ahead of the launch of KidZania, an interactive city made for children aged two to 14-years that combines inspiration, fun and learning.

A #Boeing737 made an appearance on social media with some Joburgers taking selfies with the massive object and others asking why it couldn't be moved during the night instead of causing traffic delays.
