Sars confiscates computers from home of Patrick Craven

Patrick Craven, former Cosatu spokesman gives Bongani Bingwa details of the Sars raid on his home on Wednesday.

He described it as a well planned and well organised attempt to "steal computers".

They (Sars) said it was a lifestyle audit and they wanted to check if anyone else was renting on part of my property.

Craven also referred to the deputy secretary on Numsa whose computer was also stolen. Craven had this warning for listeners:

This sounded plausible, but 702 must warn listeners as people say they are from Sars but not.
