Public schools across the country are set to elect their school's School Governing Bodies (SGB) from 1 to 31 March.

Gauteng parents have particularly been urged to participate in the process.

Stephen Grootes spoke to Gauteng Basic Education spokesperson Steve Mabona to find out more about the role of the SGB.
