'International intervention is needed to stop the civil war in Syria'

Issam Zeitoun, independent Syrian activist and researcher says he does not see any end in sight for the Syrian war.

he believes that unless the United States of America and the rest of the western world can adopt practical and serious steps to stop this ongoing assault, he is not optimistic about the war ending in Syria.

The situation is very critical and dangerous. People have been suffering for seven years and thre must be a moral and historical attitude to stop the dilemma.

Issam Zeitoun, Syrian researcher and activist

According to Zeitoun, the international communities watched and waited for more than one year as peaceful demonstrators were being killed in the streets of Syria without doing anything to help.
