Pollsmoor's sixth escapee still at large

The name of a convicted rapist who is still at large after escaping from Pollsmoor prison on Sunday night has been released.

Siphenathi Ntantiso escaped prison with five others from the B5 unit of Pollsmoor Prison Medium B section.

Spokesperson for WC Correctional Services, Simphiwe Xako says the police are working very hard to apprehend the remaining escapee.

He says they suspect him to be in the same vicinity where the others were apprehended yesterday.

Five have been arrested but we are hot on the heels of Siphenathi Ntantiso.

The last prison to escape at Pollsmoor happened last year September and the arrests were made withing 3 weeks, says Xako.
