[WATCH] Eusebius asks, what goes on in the headspace of sexual predators?

Following the report of claims that a Saps forensic investigator sent to investigate a molestation case at a school, himself molested minors, Eusebius McKaiser says we must lose our ability to be outraged and rather express rage.

He says at the point at which we spot being outraged, we are moralistically of worse as a society.

The news that a forensic police officer allegedly molested two children at AB Xuma school in Soweto who he was interviewing for a court appearance has caused a nationwide reaction.

The grade three learners aged 7 and 8; are part of 80 pupils from the school whose parents laid a charge of sexual assault against a scholar patrolman at the school.

What we need to do for our children is to be outraged, but then also need to be getting into some awkward but necessary conversation.

Eusebius McKaiser, show host

What makes a predator? Why do people prey? And why are we bad at nipping predation in the bud? If you want to solve a problem, you've got to be prepared to ask awkward questions: what goes on in the headspace of offenders?
