'Call me Miss Monroe!' - CT's hottest hip-hop sensation

If you haven’t heard of Miss Patty Monroe before, hold on to your hats, because she's coming to a stage near you!

Born and raised in Cape Town, the blonde-haired firecracker is a dynamic MC who’s changing the face of the female rap game.

With her own inimitable style, this 20-something dynamo is taking no prisoners when it comes to what she wants and the message she wants to deliver - and that message is all about staying true to yourself.

Monroe credits her brother with her introduction to the music scene.

I went to my brother and said, 'I want to be a rapper'...he gave me an A4 book and said 'fill this book up and then I can take you seriously, then you can come to the studio.'
