Caller: White people are afraid of transformation

A caller Thato during the open line on the Eusebius Mckaiser Show spoke of how "comfortable" people in the country are scared of transformation.

Thato asks why are we discussing that there is something wrong with 702 because Stephen Grootes is leaving?

She says that white people are scared because 702 is now discussing issues that they are not comfortable with.

How are we discussing that something is wrong at 702 because Stephen is leaving? Is it because now most of the white presenters are leaving that there's a problem? There's no problem. It means 702 is going through a drastic change and we can see that. 702 is now attracting more black listeners unlike before where we had white listeners...

Thato

I'm glad 702 is transforming. If it has to attract more blacks; lets do that. We can't now be saying Stephen Grootes is a legend, all legends started somewhere. He started somewhere to be a legend. It now it means we must build our own legends, let's do that and if some white people feel it doesn't cater to them lets move on...
