ADvTECH makes more money with tertiary education than it does with its schools, according to results it released on Monday.
Revenues generated by schools grew by 13.5% to R1.9 billion, though operating profit fell by 13% to R299 million.
Total group revenue stood at R4.1 billion for the year to 31 December.
The company blames the effects of emigration, as well as “semigration”, on muted growth in student numbers.
