I have really prayed and asked that I could forgive him.— Jennifer Ferguson, musician, activist and politician
Ferguson was referring to South African Football Association boss, Danny Jordaan, who she claims raped her more than two decades ago. _**Ferguson's claims emerged last year in her blog when she said she was invited to sing at a dinner hosted by leading South African sports bodies and representative officials at a hotel in Port Elizabeth._**
She claims Jordaan accompanied her to her suite when he was made to wait outside, but entered her room and forcefully grabbed her from behind.
Ferguson says she did not report the incident because she was not sure of how she would prove it.
Jordaan has denied the rape claim.
I believe you, Danny Jordaan is a rapist. The law is not the final arbiter of the truth.— Eusebius McKaiser 702 and CapeTalk host
Ferguson told Eusebius McKaiser of the "traumatic type of paralysis" that she endured after and how she's prayed for the strength to forgive Jordaan.
I did a 10-day silent retreat. I really prayed and asked that I could forgive him.— Jennifer Ferguson, musician, activist and politician
