Chef Coco’s restaurant in Sandton is the epitome of fine dining says Trapido

In the food feature, Author of Eat-Ting Anna Trapido chats about her fine dining experience at the new restaurant in Sandton called Epicure.

Chef Fathi ‘Coco’ Reinardz is a well-known food figure in Gauteng and has been in the business for at least 10 years says Trapido. She adds that people have an enormous affection for his restaurants (Ma Passion in Greenside, Sel et Poivre in Morningside and Le Sel at the Cradle).

It’s Pan-African with hints of francophone in a fine dining context so it’s a sort of elegant, multi-African deliciousness.

Trapido says that Epicure is glamorous and adds that the restaurant is a nice manifestation of what South Africa could be.

The décor is just beautiful, it's open plan with warm wooden tones and passion blue highlights.
