Former ANC MP Jennifer Ferguson on Monday claimed she is not the only woman to have been sexually assaulted by soccer boss Danny Jordaan.
Ferguson told Eusebius McKaiser that there other survivors who will stand with her, as she lays a rape charge against Jordaan.
Ferguson says she was raped by the soccer boss in a hotel room in 1994.
It hasn't been an easy decision and I am very aware of the serious journey we are embarking on and it is a journey that is, unfortunately, very prejudicial to survivors of rape.— Jennifer Ferguson, musician, activist and politician
During her interview on The Eusebius McKaiser Show, Ferguson urged other other victims to step forward.
This whole area of intimate relationships and where violations and misconduct occurred, is very, very difficult to legislate. It's the kind of grey area of our lives. So I am very aware that according to the criminal courts, the State has got to prove beyond a reason of doubt. What we have really is my story and Jordaan's story.— Jennifer Ferguson , musician, activist and politician
