Western Cape Finance MEC Dr Ivan Meyer says the proposed provincial fuel levy will require a lot of research and consultation before it could ever be put into effect.
Meyer explains that the Western Cape government has not yet taken a decision on whether they should institute a fuel tax for road users in the region.
