'David Mabuza must not leave any shoes in Mpumalanga'

The battle to fill the vacant seat of ANC chair in Mpumalanga is heating up.

Branch Executive Committee Member of ANC Ward 24 Emalahleni, Charles Makola says former Mpumalanga chairperson David Mabuza must not leave any shoes in the province.

Speaking to Karima Brown, Makola says there must be a complete renewal in the ANC in Mpumalanga.

I listened to the clip that was played where Mabuza effectively anointed Mandla Ndlovu as the person who must fill his shoes. I must say Mabuza mustn't leave any shoes in Mpumalanga; he must carry the shoes with him.

Makola says the branches must be given the chance to elect the leaders they want.

We are calling for the members of the ANC to begin to take their rightful place and make sure that ANC is renewed inline with the resolutions that were taken at the conference. There is a beginning of restoration of integrity of the ANC and members of the ANC must enhance it and move forward.
