Mayor Masina still standing, despite angry calls for his removal

There have been calls for his removal recently, mainly by taxi drivers frustrated by disruptions caused by the implementation of the Harambee Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, but City of Ekurhuleni Executive Mayor Mzwandile Masina is showing no sign of stepping down.

On Thursday he joined Bongani Bingwa to highlight the challenges being faced by the city, and to take calls from listeners.

On Wednesday, Masina delivered the State of the City Address, which focused on creating opportunities for growth and improving service delivery in Ekurhuleni.

On Thursday's he highlighted the challenges facing the city, including limited resources and an aging infrastructure.

At any time you prioritise because we work as a collective. As the ANC caucus we are able to look into what we can do to each and every ward to try and make sure that we bring about development.
