20 road deaths already reported for Easter weekend

Motorists are urged to be careful on the roads this Easter Weekend. This comes after 20 deaths have already being reported, according to the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC)

Speaking to Ray White on The Midday Report, Simon Zwane spokesperson at the RTMC said there have already been two bus crashes in the Eastern Cape.

Also, two trucks that collided, so already on those three incidents, we are looking at about 20 deaths and that is not good at all.

He said this should sensitise people to being more cautious on the roads because accidents are often caused by not obeying the rules of the road and reckless driving.

Its come down to that, its recklessness as all of this is avoidable.
