Six pedestrians are among 10 people killed on roads in the Western Cape since the start of the Easter weekend.
Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says it has been a busy few days, with a total of 64 drunk drivers arrested and close to R1 million in fines issued to motorists in the province since Good Friday.
In one instance, a motorist in George was found to be seven times over the legal limit.
