Seedstars: Startups to compete for equity investment of $1 million

Did you know that 84% of the world's population is located in emerging markets?

Not only that, but 59% of global GDP comes from these markets.

This month's Seedstars Summit will see more than 64 startups from the fast growing startup hubs around the world compete for equity investment of up to $1-million.

Seedstars promotes entrepreneurship in emerging markets, as well as connecting entrepreneurs to those who can bring value into their businesses.

Initially we wanted to invest in Europe, but we soon realised that it was kind of a crowded market so one of our founders suggested we go somewhere there were not a lot of players and at the time, it was emerging markets.
