'DA Federal Congress an important one'

The Democratic Alliance (DA) ish holding its Federal Congress this weekend.

Speaking to John Maytham, Daily Maverick's Carien du Plessis says the Congress is very important for the DA as the party is still grappling with its identity.

It is torn between two things, it has to grow its votes to become a possible party of government but it also wants to remain true to its liberal ideologies or liberal beliefs.
