Coronation steps up to boost education with the help of Jonathan Jansen

Investment management company Coronation has launched a corporate social investment (CSI) program aimed at offering primary school learners a well-rounded foundational education.

Group head of marketing at Coronation, Wendy Bergsteedt says the programme will benefit grades 1-3.

She explains how the programme is structured to benefit teachers, principals, pupils, and parents.

We talk to parents about teaching their children about making good career choices as well as enabling them with the skills to help their children with basic maths and English throughout the programme.

Also, we will be imparting skills to teachers and principles through formal training outside and inside the school environment.

In order to offer relevant skills, Coronation is working closely with professor Jonathan Jansen from Stellenbosch University.
