Illustrator Yoosha Isaacs offers a futuristic take on the Jozi architecture.
The Joburg-based creative decided to put a modern and futuristic spin on his city’s architecture for his visual communications class at the Greenside Design Centre. What Isaacs created was a unique illustrative project that takes you on a trip around the city.
“This was a second year Graphic Design project where I was tasked to go out and photograph buildings and incorporate mixed media elements into it. What I enjoyed about this project is that I got to explore my city and the infrastructure it holds,” says the designer.
Isaacs, now a third year graphic design student, spent time exploring and photographing some of the many iconic buildings in Johannesburg. He then created designs with ink and sketched out the buildings. Once that was done he imported the sketches into Photoshop where they were manipulated into these eye-catching illustra
