Corruption in South Africa has reached epidemic levels and threatens the lives of all South African citizens. Money lost due to government corrupt could have been used to better the lives of all South African citizens, especially the poor.
Speaking to Eusebius McKaiser, CEO of Pan-African Investment and Research Iraj Abedian and deputy editor at Financial Mail, Sikonathi Mantshantsha discussed how South Africa should begin a process of restitution and compensation for the billions looted and damage done to the country and the nation.

Abedian said he disagrees completely with the notion that 'it's water under the bridge' adding 'if we get accustomed to accepting and condoning misconduct and looting that is very sad'.
We need to recognise that these companies as individuals and as corporations both in their personal persona and their legal persona, they have liabilities.

Mantshantsha said those that have been tasked with enforcing justice and the rule of law in this country are guilty of treason as not a single person has been arrested.
