Ex-FBI director James Comey isn't the only one coming for Trump, says analyst

United States (US) President Donald Trump will have to fight battles and controversy on several fronts, says foreign policy expert Brooks Spector.

Trump is facing allegations from his former FBI director, James Comey, who has written a tell-all book “A Higher Loyalty".

Comey is the man who many believe helped Trump win the election by announcing an investigation into Hillary Clinton just over a week before Americans voted in 2016.

He is now touring all the major TV shows with some explosive allegations about the American President.

Spector explains that Comey is not the only political battle Trump will have to confront. He is also face with:

  • a Senate investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign
  • a fight over the House of Representatives in midterm elections
  • pressure from special counsel Robert Mueller
  • his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, who is under investigation

Comey had been in government service for a long time. He knew how the machinery worked and where you put things.
