Vera - who is happily married - says his wife knew about his cross-dressing before they were married and, in fact, was the first person to find out.
I went to work and she decided to clean my room, and when I came back she confronted me with a pair of pantyhose she had found...she said 'who's are these?' - and I kind of sheepishly said 'those are mine', and she paused for a moment and then said 'Oh, well that's OK then!'— Vera Wylde, cross-dresser
