A documentary about the life and times of the late Ontlametse Phalatse who suffered from a rare genetic disorder, progeria is scheduled to hit screens soon.
Phalatse was one of two South African girls living with progeria, and was told she would only live until her fourteenth birthday.
Speaking to Gugu Mhlungu on The Afternoon Drive, documentary producer and director, Keabetswe Mokwena said Ontlametsi was an inspiring figure.
When I met her, like many people, I didn't know what was wrong with her. Fast forward 2015, I started following her on social media. What motivated me to do her story was that she was really positive.— Keabetswe Mokwena, documentary producer and director
