Political Desk: 'Mabuza says Guptas must be brought to book'

Deputy President David Mabuza answered questions in the National Assembly on Wednesday.

EWN parliamentary reporter, Gaye Davies, says Mabuza told parliament that simply because the Gupta's once airlifted him for medical help in Russia, doesn't mean he owes them anything.

He says he wants them brought to book. He was being asked what government was doing to tackle board members of state owned entities implicated in state capture.

Davies says the EFF asked Mabuza what he was doing to help law enforcement agencies to arrest members of the Gupta family.

He said it wasn't his job to go after suspected criminals, but he also said he is confident nobody is going to escape this process and that if the Guptas have done something wrong, they will be bought to book.
