Johannesburg MMC for Public Safety, Michael Sun says they are behind 300 000 in housing backlog in the City alone and they need to find sustainable solutions that will bring about affordable and comfortable accommodation to the residents of Johannesburg.
It is a long road, we are not going to shy away from that. There are many buildings that have been hijacked or illegally occupied within the city.
