ANC top brass visit KZN to deal with political killings

Eyewitness News reporter Ziyanda Ngcobo says the situation in Kwazulu Natal is volatile.

This, as a result of political killings that continue to grip the province.

President Cyril Ramaphosa and the security cluster are visiting KwaZulu-Natal to implement urgent interventions aimed at curbing murders in the province.

Ngcobo says:

The day before Maqatha Mchunu was gunned down, he was actually part of a press briefing of disgruntled members from divided regions who were raising concerns about going ahead with regional conferences.

They had concerns around membership selection; membership fraud and also gatekeeping.
