Rain expected to continue into the weekend in parts of SA

The South African Weather Service says rain is expected over parts of the country on Thursday.

The weather service forecaster said widespread showers and thundershowers are expected over Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Kwa-Zulu Natal and over the eastern parts of the North West, northern and eastern parts of Free State.

Looking at the weekend's forecast, weather forecaster Kgolofelo Mahlangu says rainy weather will continue into the weekend.

Saturday we're looking at the northern parts of KZN, eastern parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo. In the northern parts KZN there will be a 30% chance of showers and rains and some chances of thunder showers over the western parts of the country.
