Zolile Khumalo's murder accused gives journos the zap sign in court

The man who is accused of killing Durban student Zolile Khumalo has appeared at the Durban Regional Court for the third time to apply for bail and has been remanded in custody.

Shocking details of how Zolile Khumalo cowered on the floor before she was shot and was kicked as she lay bleeding were shared in court.

Thabani Mzolo gave journalists the middle finger which annoyed the judge. Some awful details have also emerged about Khumalo's last moments before Mzolo was believed to have shot and killed her.

Speaking to Joanne Joseph, EWN Reporter, Ziyanda Ngcobo said Mzolo was obviously annoyed at the presence of journalists and gave them the zap sign as they were taking pictures of him.

In that very moment when Mzolo pulled the zep sign it was in full view of the gallary which also included Zolile Khumalo's mother and father.

She adds that many people at the court and on social media have expressed disgust and anger towards him as it seems as though he is not showing any kind of remorse.

And still maintaining a very arrogant demeanor.
