[WATCH] 'Maybe political killings are not such a terrible end after all'

Breakfast Show host Bongani Bingwa says the most corruption happens in local government.

He says that the political killings in KwaZulu Natal are directly related to having access to these kinds of decisions.

Bingwa says there is no phantom killer who is going after politicians in that or any other province where we are seeing this type of action.

What might R28bn have done? It might have prevented children from dying in faeces in pit latrines, babies dying on their mother's backs because the queues at clinics are too long, it might have helped the police or ambulance to arrive in your emergency because there are enough cars or the road infrastructure good enough for them to actually reach your home even in the rural areas.

Bongani Bingwa, Breakfast Show host

Come to think of it, for those corrupt leaders who are part of the patronage networks and smoked filled cigar rooms that plot against our people and our country, maybe political killings are not such a terrible end after all.
