More rainy days needed in CPT to recover from drought

The recent rainfall in Cape Town is still not enough to get the city out of the woods, according to experts.

The city's been hit by what is said to be the worst drought in 100 years.

Hydro-Climatologist at Climate System Analysis Group at UCT, Piotr Wolski says the catchment areas are a bit drier than the rest of the city.

He says while data shows an improvement on last year, 2018 is still not what would be considered a 'wet' year.

Piotr Wolski, Hydro-Climatologist at Climate System Analysis Group
