Former President Jacob Zuma to have his day in court on Friday

Former President Jacob Zuma will appear in the Durban High Court on Friday.

The Prosecuting Authority (NPA) rejected former President Jacob Zuma’s request that the State stop its corruption case against him pending the outcome of a legal battle over who will fund it.

Zuma is facing 16 charges ranging from corruption to racketeering.

This shows that the former president is going to have his day in court.

The argument over the cost issue was simply shrugged aside by the NPA, rightly so because the former president does enjoy his former salary of R3 million and as well as the benefits of being a former president.
