[LISTEN] Wife of Siya Kolisi 'so proud' as husband Siya leads SA to victory

Following the victory of the Springboks over England on Saturday, captain Siya Kolisi's wife Rachel has spoken of her pride at her husband's success.

Kolisi led the Bokke to a thrilling 42-39 victory over England on Saturday in the first Test in Johannesburg, becoming the first black captain to lead the team in an international game.

I've always been a fan of his team but a super fan of his. I am so proud of him, his life could literally be a movie, it's so incredible how it all panned out

Rachel shared the experience of seeing her husband leading the national team to victory on Saturday.

She says while it was tense, she kept the hope throughout the game.

I kept on telling everyone that don't stress we are going to win this game. I think bringing a lot of negativity doesn't help the situation.

She believes that new changes in in the team and the bringing in the coach has increased the level of professionalism in the Springboks.

Rassie Erasmus has brought a different level of professionalism that's just mind blowing. I think if you are not pulling your weight in playing the game then you are not going to be involved - whether you are liked or not.

The whole team has jelled so well and all in support of Siya. He is not a big talker so he just let other people do the talking...
