Eskom on Tuesday offered workers a salary hike of 4.7%, after initially offering 0%.
According to National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) spokesperson Livhuwani Mamburu, the offer comes along with a four-year guarantee of inflation-linked increases.
Workers downed tools last week amidst many reports of intimidation and damage to infrastructure which Eskom claims have resulted in load shedding.
