Callers ask what will happen to Ashwin Willemse after MultiChoice findings

MultiChoice have released their findings into last month's walkout by presenter Ashwin Willemse.

SuperSport CEO Gideon Khobane says Advocate Vincent Maleka has found that there was no racism involved in the incident which saw Ashwin Willemse leaving the studio during an on-air broadcast.

Willemse had alleged that his co-presenters Nick Mallet and Naas Botha had patronised and undermined him.

Callers to the Breakfast Show were not impressed by the findings and the fact that Willemse did not participate in the investigations.

There was no evidence of racism but now remember in the community or society that will cling to you that you are a racist. So what is going to happen now? As much as I love and respect Willemse as a rugby player, he falsely accused someone and he was not willing to take part in that process. What action will be taken against Ashwin and anybody else after him that calls me or you a racist but there is no evidence.

He has not taken a person like into his confidence. He has not really articulated what was really articulated to him. he has failed to participate in an open, transparent process by an independent chairperson who has no conflict in this process, that does not take him into my confidence.
