ANC elects Job Mokgoro as new North West premier
Supra Mahumapelo is expected to resign from his position as an ordinary member of the North West legislature to make way for the province's new premier Job Mokgoro.
The African National Congress (ANC) confirmed Mokgoro's appointment on Thursday.
The 70-year-old served as director-general in the province and head of the National School of Government.
