[LISTEN] From where I am sitting, I have done nothing wrong - Brian Hlongwa
Gauteng former Health’s MEC, Brian Hlongwa speaks to Joanne Joseph about the Special Investigating Unit findings that linked him to corruption amounting to R1.2 billion.
He believes these reports are a renewed attack to embarrass the ANC in Gauteng.
Hlongwa says the matters have been well ventilated in the Gauteng legislature before.
Just to set the record straight, the report was done in 2014. It was released now because there was an application made by Freedom Under the Law. Hence it has gone public. That's why I made the point that there is actually no new findings, it's still the same issues that have been in the public domain since 2014.Brian Hlongwa, Gauteng former Health’s MEC
From where I am sitting, I have done nothing wrong. All of these allegations are false and I am hoping and praying that matters will come into finality, before a competent court of law.Brian Hlongwa, Gauteng former Health’s MEC
