Job Mokgoro aims to restore confidence in the North West government
North West Premier Job Mokgoro says he has started a process of engagements to restore confidence in the North West government.
Mokgoro is in his first week at the helm after he was elected unopposed by the African National Congress (ANC).
The 70 year -old professor who has served as director-general in the province and head of the National School of Government admits he has a complex task ahead of him.

Speaking on issues of financial mismanagement and corruption in the province, Mokgoro says he will have to work very closely with treasury to fix this.
I will be working very closely with the head of treasury and the accountant general to say what stop gaps can we put in immediately to make sure we arrest the procurement plan, so one has to almost micro-manage the plan of the departments.Job Mokgoro, NW Premier
