Tshwane releases report on the investigations into the appointment of former Chief of Staff Aucamp.

The City of Tshwane on Thursday morning released a report on the outcomes of an investigation into the controversial appointment of Solly Msimanga's former chief of staff, Marietha Aucamp.

The report found that Aucamp shouldn't have been appointed as chief of staff even on an acting basis.

Speaking to Clement Manyathela on The Midday Report, Executive Director, Strategic Communication City of Tshwane Selby Bokaba says the report found serious lapses in their HR processes.

What the report has recommended is that all the HR officials, about three of them, should be subjected to a disciplinary process. That is going to be actioned.

There are also some other recommendations that have been made that our legal department will have to process and then advise the City manager on the way forward.
