[LISTEN] Marc Lottering chats about being back in Joburg for his latest show!

Comedian Marc Lottering is in Johannesburg for his latest stand-up show at the Lyric Theatre on Sunday 8 July.

AUNTY MERLE THE MUSICAL which was nominated for 4 Fleur Du Cap theatre awards touches on a broad range of topics, including French Polony, Call Centre agents and Gluten.

The Capetonian took some time out to sit down with Azania Mosaka to chat about his stay in Joburg, travelling to Europe and more.

It is always a crazy time to come to Joburg because people here... if you say I am going to see you, they expect to see you. When I say I am going to see you, I mean like if I don't make it to your funeral I am going to see you around.

Marc Lottering, comedian

When I flew up I said I can't wait because of the bath.

Marc Lottering, comedian

He shares some of what you can expect at his show.

In that show, I talk about my latest stint travelling and for the first time my friends took me to Europe. I saw how people live and we just want too much...

Marc Lottering, comedian

I talk about why I need to talk to men who are cycling in cycling shorts and just feel like they can pull up at coffee shops and talk to us while we are biting on crusants and just stand there.

Marc Lottering, comedian

There are many issues that I touch on about what has been bugging me lately.
